Board of Governors (BoG) in supersession of the NMC, MoHFW has declared that 10 percent of students have been registered for the economically weaker sections (EWS) in all government medical colleges. EWS Candidates qualified in the NEET UG entrance test can get admission to Government Colleges. 

NTA added 5200 additional seats in various states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana. With the increment of seats, the possibility to get admission in Government College is increased.

MBBS Government Admissions for All India Quota (15%) and State Quota (85%). The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counseling process for MBBS/BDS admissions for All India Quota seats. 

State Governments conduct the counseling process for the remaining 85% of seats. Candidates scoring the qualifying marks in the NEET exam are eligible to get admission to Government/private colleges across the nation and state.
