NEET Exam- Making Scheme
- NEET exam conducted for 720 marks; the NEET question paper consists of 200 multiple-choice type of questions. Competitors have to opt a correct answer from the choice of 4 options.
- Each question contains 4 marks. 4-marks will be awarded for a correct answer.
- Negative marking is there for wrong answers, -1 marks will be deducted for a wrong answer.
- ‘0’ marks for an unanswered question.

NEET Cutoff Marks/Qualifying Marks Analysis

NEET Cutoff: Tie-breaking Process
NEET Tie-breaking is applied if 2 or more candidates scoring same marks in the exam. Using the tie-breaking process the ranks of the candidates will be decided.
Higher marks in Biology:
Competitors scoring higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be given the first preference in NEET merit list.
Higher marks in Chemistry:
