NEET 2021 Exam dates have been announced finally after the nerve-wracking pressure of this entire time. NEET 2021 exam dates announced as per the NTA to be conducted on 12th September 2021. Accompanying the exam dates the pattern change of the examination and increase of questions brought a big surprise to the student community. NEET 2021 Exam after longtime wait brought few surprises either to the change in question pattern, numbers as well to the other rules and regulations.

The syllabus for the NEET 2021 is evidently provided on the official website of NTA for the student’s scrutiny. Every student must check thoroughly the changes if any occurred to the syllabus which they are officially preparing for the past year and the announced. Depending on the Boards and States slight changes might be viewed and candidates must recognize them thoroughly during their preparation to not lose their precious marks later in the main examinations.
The new changes to the test Pattern of NEET 2021 (UG) contain two sections. Every subject consists of Section-A and Section-B sections and Section-A comprises 35 questions and Section B of 15 questions. Every subject will have 50 questions in total, which is 5 questions more compared to NEET 2020 test pattern for every subject. A total of 200 questions will be given to the candidate from all 4 subjects and students have to answer only 180 questions which are similar to NEET 2020 exam questions. But the time for attempting the question has not increased and remained the same. This might cause some delay in answering the entire questions of NEET 2021.

MARKS ALLOTMENT: Marks allotment not subjected to any changes in NEET 2021 Exam like the previous examinations every correct answer carries 4 marks and every incorrect answer or wrong answer will be deducted 1 mark. And for un-attempted / un-answered questions will be given no plus or minus marks.
The total number of questions to be answered is the same 180 questions but NEET 2021 has provided an option of 20 more questions. Students can choose from those which can be answered out of the given 15 questions. They can leave the difficult questions from Section B and attempt those that they are very confident at.
NEET 2021, NTA provided all the candidates with 20 questions additionally to select from the given 15 any 10 questions from Section B. Though not available in the previous NEET tests, this sort of selection option can be considered both BOON and SNAG to the candidates.
In terms of selecting the 10 most confident questions among the given is boon in case of any unknown questions. But the same might take their time to read all the 15 questions and selecting 10 among them. This could be a great obstacle in case not maintained the time properly by the candidates to lose more marks in the confusion of selecting the right questions.
